Taylor Update: Never Change
My oh my… what are we going to do with this kid! LOL
With no therapy on the weekend, T is pretty much left to goof around and enjoy his time with friends and family… trust me… he takes full advantage of it!

Of course, he sitll managed to sneak in two naps today – I wish I could have too LOL – He deserved it and needs to rest his brain and body for therapy next week! In between naps, we had some fun going downstairs to the cafeteria and plenty of time listening to him crack jokes, pretty much the entire day!
It is truly a blessing that he is ‘himself’ after all he has been through. When you see T’s sense of humor, love, kindness, courage, determination… that’s him… and we are so proud of him for the way he is carrying himself through this time in his life! PENNY!
His Aunt and Uncle came to visit today (and 2 cousins too 😊 ) … AND his closest friends are either here, or on the way… He’s a lucky guy all around, and it never gets old saying how lucky we are too!
Today during lunch, eating a 2/3 lb burger – yes, 2/3 lbs! – T stopped and asked “When we get home, can we get together with everyone so I can see them” – It really struck me when he asked – of course we said yes, but it hung with me… his compassion for others just defines who he is, all of our kids are the same way – it’s just a humble reminder of how fortunate Jennifer and I are!

I hope you enjoy the video of Taylor goofing around – it’s who he is, who he has always been… and I hope he never changes! I am often the brunt of his jokes… I don’t mind, he’s often the brunt of my jokes, so we are even. 😊
I hope you had a great Saturday!!! Rest your mind and body and prepare for the hard week ahead! We all need it!!
