Taylor Update: Whatever it takes
Taylor had a great nights sleep and that is always a big bonus for the day! He has so much more personality and not as many mood swings LOL
It’s Friday!! Normally on Fridays, his favorite therapist is not here but he was surprised today that she was… you know what that means… some good workouts! He worked very hard on leg lifts and the lokomat (robot).
I know the weekend is here but I feel like the week just started… it went by so fast!!
Taylor had an exciting discovery today… he could see his hand!! He was like… “Cool, I can see my hand… I haven’t see it in so long!” THIS IS AWESOME NEWS!!!
I held my hand about a foot or two away and he could tell how many fingers I was holding up!! PENNY!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited about this… everyone is! Another baby step in the right direction… something new… something positive… and Taylor felt it… and man, did he need that!!! I am so grateful for his ‘discovery’ today! We have a long way to go but I am so hopeful and I really feel like his brain is healing more and more every day… I JUST KNOW IT!!!
He received a nice microphone from a friend and he started using it today… maybe we can get more out of him this weekend!
His voice/speech has come a long way as well as his physical abilities… please think of his vision and send lots of love, positive thoughts and prayers for him!!!
Thank you so much for keeping him close to your heart, it means the world to us… and all the love and support is not only helping us, but it’s helping him!!!
