Taylor Update: Birthday Weekend, Part 1
We slept in a bit today… in good ol’ Dorward fashion

That was a nice change, but it also meant a lot of hurrying because it wouldn’t be long before Gamecock Kickoff!
We watched the football game and celebrated T’s birthday with many of our friends and family! It was a lot of fun for T to see everyone and he loved the birthday hugs!
He was surprised by all the gifts he received… even said “Aren’t I too old for gifts?” LOL Perhaps… but not today!
As the night wound down, we were chatting about how much he enjoyed the day… we asked what his favorite gift was… his answer – seeing everyone.

The weekend is not nearly over, and we will continue to celebrate his birthday tomorrow!
As we take a ‘break’, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend as well!!!
2 more days of fun and celebration until the hard routine of therapy starts back up!!! We are all excited for the next part of Taylor’s Journey, but for now, Jennifer and I are loving seeing T so happy with the people he loves!
